Hi, everyone! My name is Rev. Philip Galyon. I am the Pastor of Youth and College Ministries at Johns Creek United Methodist Church in Johns Creek, GA. I have been in youth ministry over 14 years. I have served churches of all sizes and worked with in different denominations as well.

Why I wanted to become a ministry coach: I would not be where I am today without my ministry coach assigned to me during seminary. I would have flamed out in my first year. She guided me through the first 3 years of my ministry. I saw how she cared for me, challenged me, and asked me the tough questions that led me to deepen faith and explore my call in ways I would have never imagined. I feel as though God is calling me not only to give pour into others the way I was poured into, but to be someone that other ministry leaders can explore how they can grow in the skills and ministry calling with.

Coaching Certification: I am certified through The Ministry Coaching Association. I have practice hours in person, on virtual calls, and received instructions via classroom material. If you have any questions about my training, please contact Rev. Brian Wallace (Brian@brian-wallace.com). You can find more information at ymcert.com.

We know that life's challenges are unique and complex for everyone. Coaching is here to help you find yourself and realize your full potential.
